Growing up on a small farm outside of Rockhampton, Kate was exposed to many different animals, big and small, from a young age.
Kate knew that she had to follow her dream of being a vet and attended university at Townsville. She graduated from James Cook University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. After graduation Kate started out in mixed practice at Childers, and has worked in other Queensland practices.
Kate has a passion for all facets of veterinary science, but in particular soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and dentistry. Kate joined Clermont Vet Surgery at the end of 2019 after following her husband to the beautiful town of Clermont and fell in love with the quiet countryside and friendly locals.
In her spare time, you fill find Kate spending time with her husband Klint and three boys Henry, Teddy and Sterling on their farm and playing with their border collies Molly, Murphie and Millie.
